Monument Point Camping
The Rockingham track has 60 acres of land dedicated to camping for this event. Camping is run by the track not the event and in the past, we coordinated with the company that runs camping so that there was just wristband for camping and the event. Unfortunately, this caused some confusion at times. So, we are going back to having one wristband for the Smoke Out event and another for camping.

Where to find the best camping sites, grounds & parks
We were the only tent there but there were lots of RV’s. Campground is very quiet and close to Sequoia National Park. It is in a nice location and staff is friendly. IntoTheWild87 – April We loved this spot! Our site was right on the river, quiet at night, nice staff and convenient location to the park esp since the tour company we booked picked us up and dropped us off. Sequoia Sightseeing Tours We had only stayed at one other RV park which was like being in a giant parking lot, but this felt like camping should be.
Three Cape Loop – Oceanside, Pacific City, maps, camping areas From Sand Beach northward, it’s a sandy, grassy, dune-covered stretch of about 4 miles until the secretive cove at the bottom of Cape Lookout – and not much else.
Camping Things to remember to bring when planning a camping trip where there is no electricity. Camping without electricity can be a fun adventure if you are well prepared. You will need to find alternate sources of power in order to have some of the luxuries of home while camping outdoors. Battery charger with plug-in to vehicle power outlet or cigarette lighter Rope for hanging a lantern More than one large flashlight with handle Warm clothes When camping, it is generally cool at night even in the summer and especially near water.
Be prepared for cool temperatures and wet weather by packing insulated underwear, water-repellent outerwear, and extra clothing made of fabric that will dry quickly. Personal hand or foot warmers These are heat packets also called hand or foot warmers. Bungee cords of various lengths These are an excellent alternative to rope and can be useful in many situations. Duct tape Duct tape is useful in a variety of situations.
However, it will no longer adhere if it comes in contact with wet conditions. Long-handled spatula and stirring spoon for cooking over a fire It is best if the handle has a heat-resistant surface. Gloves for hauling wood Ice chests Cast iron skillet Cast iron is the most durable metal pan for camping. It can hold up the intense heat from a fire.
If space is limited, an extra large cast iron pan is the most versatile.
Camping with no water hook up
Waterdoctor on July 21, , The CG owners actually encourage discharging grey water only on the ground as it helps to keep some of the grand old oaks in the CG watered. At least that’s what they told me I have found that many, but not all, privately owned RVParks do not mind if you “water the foliage and grass” with your gray water. They are familiar with paying for water to irrigate the landscape.
No need to check in for day use.
